What does "sensor or time-controlled" mean in connection with the automatic module Hei-VOLUME Distimatic?

get back

There are two modes available for programming the automatic module Hei-VOLUME Distimatic: The sensor mode, in which the level of the evaporation flask is regulated by a sensor. This is the default mode that is suitable for most applications. Alternatively, you can freely program the refill and evaporation time in Time mode. This mode is particularly advantageous when processing sticky residue, or to optimize process time.

The process flow in SENSOR mode:
a) Automatic refill of medium in the evaporation flask:
A sensor detects the level in the rotary flask and automatically triggers the refill of the medium when a level that is too low is detected.

b) Automatic condensate drainage:
A level sensor monitors the collector vessel. If the vessel is full, automatic drainage is triggered.

c) Automatic drainage of the residue from the evaporation flask (for 24/7 models):
As soon as the level sensor in the rotary flask no longer detects any change in the current process because the residue completely occupies the flask, the drainage of the residue is triggered.

The process flow in TIME mode:
a) Automatic refill of medium in the evaporation flask:
You define a time interval in which the flask is refilled and one in which it is vaporized. Determine the number of cycles.

b) Automatic condensate drainage:
A level sensor monitors the collector vessel. If the vessel is full, automatic drainage is triggered.

c) Automatic vacuuming of the residue from the evaporation flask (for 24/7 models):
You specify a time in the process flow at which the residue is to be drained.
